Terms of Service

HitchHint lets you privately share ring and gift preferences with recipients you designate, and optionally asks us to send email introductions ("nudges") on your behalf. HitchHint is operated by Ventures by Dano LLC, Massachusetts, USA.

You must be at least 18 years old to use HitchHint.

You keep ownership of the photos and notes you upload. By uploading them you give us permission to store and display them to the recipients you designate — that's the whole point, and it's the only thing we use them for.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Don't upload anything unlawful, hateful, or that invades someone else's privacy.

When you add recipients or send a nudge, we send email to those addresses on your behalf. Only enter the email address of someone you personally know and reasonably believe would welcome the message. Using HitchHint to harass, spam, or deceive anyone is prohibited and will get your access terminated.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Once someone opts out, we will not email them again — including on your behalf.

Some features (like the multi-email nudge sequence) are paid. Payments are processed by Stripe. If a paid feature doesn't work as described, email hello@hitchhint.com and we'll make it right or refund you.

HitchHint is provided "as is." We work hard to deliver every hint, but we can't guarantee that emails will reach every inbox, that recipients will act on them, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ventures by Dano LLC's total liability for any claim related to HitchHint is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You can delete your board and stop using HitchHint at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the rules about emailing other people.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. If we make material changes, we'll update this page and note the new effective date.
